A therapeutic
relationship

“In my early professional years I was asking the question: How can I treat, or cure, or change this person? Now I would phrase the question in this way: How can I provide a relationship which this person may use for their own personal growth?” Carl R. Rogers

Simply Counselling offers you a personal therapeutic relationship. We believe a good relationship with your counsellor creates the best climate for your personal growth and for the changes you want to make in your life. The counselling we offer is private, confidential and you can attend for as long as you need.

We have over 30 counsellors who have been through a rigorous interview process and we provide a continuous programme of training.

Simply Counselling is an organisational member of BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and we work within their ethical framework. Our organisational membership number is: 101564. All Simply Counsellor’s are individual members of BACP.

An important part of BACP ethical practice is for counsellors to receive supervision. We are passionate about counsellor supervision and provide internal and external counsellor supervision to maintain the quality of our counselling.

“It’s so nice to be listened to. I feel recognised, seen for who I really am. The only place I don’t have to pretend to be someone else”
